updated as of yesterday (July 21): based on a statistical model developed by a prestigious medical journal called The Lancet, Israel has killed roughly 434,800 people in Gaza since the country’s military started to attack the territory on 8 October 2023. That’s 20.7% of Gaza’s entire pre-conflict population dead. Over half are women and children.
I keep asking: What the fuck makes Israel so different? What makes them so special? Is it Israeli exceptionalism? Like fuck imagine other genocidal colonial states looking at Israel and taking notes on how to conduct a successful genocide. Oh if only Nazi Germany had done this. Oh if only Apartheid South Africa had done this etc etc what the actual fuck.
South Africa was actually far less murderous than the Israelis have been (low bar I know).
My point being, imagine making apartheid South Africa look humane.
When the war started, people often defended zionism by saying that if the zionist occupation fell, so would western civilisation. Thing is, they were correct. You see all the western colonists come out of the woodwork and go absolutely all in on zionism cause it’s a matter of life or death for them. Without zionism, the western colonists loose eurasia. It would be game over for them on a continental scale. And so, to protect zionism, anything goes.

Israel is a part of the US empire. The US empire acts with impunity. Apartheid SA and Nazi Germany were not part of such an empire
It’s US American exceptionalism. What’s special is the largest military power to ever exist. Actions of Israel are actions of the US.
What they did that others didn’t is be an essential FOB for an imperial hegemony. WW2 was never motivated by saving people from genocide. No one went to war because of that, maybe some individual soldiers but you get what im saying. South Africa was freed from within mostly. Liberals only oppose atrocities occe they’ve been completed or it inconveniences them
Israelis are Americans, are Europeans, are Russians.
They don’t condemn Israel or try to stop it because they ARE Israel.
