  • “The changes posed by drones are so fast that concepts we implemented just a month ago no longer work now,” said an infantry battalion commander, whose call sign is “Cuba”, with the 13th Khartiia brigade.

Khartiia is one of two fascist corps btw, it’s not a brigade. The National Guard of Ukraine was recently reorganised into two 15,000 member Corps. One is Azov Corps (azov brigade no longer exists and is now a much larger fascist-led corps) and the other is Khartiia, also fascist-led.

Here is a picture of a Khartiia ceremony.

This interview is conducted with fascists.

  • You’re seriously good with the possibility that you might get snipped if someone accuses you of something you didn’t do after a night out drinking?

I don’t think you’ve truly thought through the ramifications or possibility that this might one day directly and personally impact you. You’re doing the “it’s common sense innit just deal with em bruv” shit and actively preventing yourself from thinking about it beyond that.

I know you’re not ok with that outcome. Think about it some more. You can’t hold this position without that outcome being a possibility.

  • There is an argument to be made that America was the first fascist state, constructed in the image of Rome and could be the more appropriate title holder of Third Reich, despite not inventing the term fascism itself. All the fascist projects that followed were inspired by and constructed in America’s image, the most successful of which aimed to imitate America’s actions directly through Lebensraum or Greater Israel.

I don’t think it’s particularly problematic to really consider all the associations. And given that the symbol has been explicitly fascist for a long time I don’t see why it’s not acceptable to criticise its continued use in the US just because they were put up before fascism was given a name. Everybody here would say Finland continues using the swastika in its military because significant elements of Finland support fascism. I don’t see why the US continuing to keep up Fasces everywhere would be viewed differently. The people that don’t want these symbols taken down know what those symbols represent to people now, and they like and support that meaning while using “we used them before that meaning” as a way to defend against their removal.

  • And, I will add, the principle mistake I see among orgs, ML and otherwise, has been to unintentionally take part in reducing revolutionary energy while opposing such acts.

It’s very easy for people to get an unintended cooling off of revolutionary energy in the process of condemning or disavowing actions carried out by individuals or the strategies of other orgs. We’ve seen a number of revolutionary orgs soften into electoral orgs and even social-democracy over time, that’s because of mistakes in nurturing and maintaining revolutionary energy.

  • A few years ago I put forward a theory on here that overtime it would not matter whether we do or do not support adventurism - it will happen.

Individuals carrying out acts of leftist violence is not something orgs can prevent. It’s going to happen. It’s going to happen more and more as revolutionary potential gets higher and higher. The higher revolutionary potential gets, the more it will occur.

Adventurism isn’t something that needs to be shot down or something that can even be affected by opposing it. If we create conditions that make people revolutionary then some of the ones that aren’t organised but are angry enough will act of their own accord.

Adventurism is a signal indicating revolutionary energy. The increase in adventurism is a demonstration of an increase in revolutionary energies. What matters is organising those energies without reducing them.
