          Hogan’s favorite things

Befriending abusive radio hosts? Steroids? Implying the guy his son left permanently disabled, after wrapping Daddy’s car around a palm tree, deserved it? Ohh I get it, racism!

Yea, one of his favorite things definitely, but Hulk Hogan was a man of many passions.

            Sleeping with his friends wives?

Being poly isn’t bad. Everything else he’s done sucks (including finisher. Atomic leg-drop is just sitting down on someone), but I gotta be honest and say the fucking a consensual adult whose partner also consented isn’t something that should be used as critique.

edit: He did also respond to my sisters’ letter to him when he’d been put in the hospital by the Undertaker in '91 so that was also nice of him. Everything else though sucks

If it was truly consensual, that’s one thing. I just have a hard time imagining someone like “Bubba the Love Sponge” being in a relationship with mutual respect, and boundaries.

I don’t think this was a matter of ethical non-monogamy, I think this was a guy weaponizing his power over his wife, to pimp her out to his friends, for social credit and blackmail material. People with a history of abuse aren’t usually concerned with their partners physical needs.

Damn, can’t believe Bubba would do this. I’ll take the L, but with the caveat that I still think you should rephrase your initial statement so it’s not about Hulk Hogan having sex with someone, but about Hulk Hogan accepting a known abuser pimping out his wife to him.

                  Rephrased.

                  But

I see no reason to assume that “Florida man Howard Stern” was practicing ethical Anything, much less non-monogamy.

I think should also be pointed out, the rank hypocrisy of someone who thumps on the Bible as loudly as Hulk Hogan did, committing adultery with his friend’s wife. Especially because he was married too, and I see no reason to believe that his wife was okay with him having sex outside of their relationship considering they divorced as soon as this came out.

My phrasing was reductionist, and has been edited.

If there is a just and holy God, Hulk Hogan is burning in hell. Bubba the Love Sponge will join him soon.

Air superiority is still the main deciding factor in modern warfare. What the US has done, however, is gotten high on their own supply of propaganda about how capable its aircraft are. The US has fallen into the trap of building weaponry based on what it wishes were true, vs. what material conditions actually exist.

American aircraft have been built and designed on the notion enemies aren’t capable of fighting back. Iran has proven not only is it capable of fighting back, it does so at a fraction of the cost. The Iranians are the opposite in that they designed weaponry based on what war with the US would look like. They aren’t relying on wunderwaffe, but practical, cost-effective ways of dealing with aircraft carriers and modern planes/drones.

Depends on your goals. If air superiority could fulfil any goal, “Israel” would’ve conquered the region long ago.

There’s no way a KC-135 is only worth less than half of a 737, idc what google says. Many had had their powerplants upgraded to CFM56s which are mega money (5-7 million each x4), not to mention avionics upgrades.

People should also take into account the annual cost of maintenance / investments which for the entire kc-135 fleet was 2.2 Billion in 2001!

Additionally, being privy to how inefficient U.S aerospace is, I can almost guarantee that every moderately damaged aircraft you see is just scrapped. There’s no way that Chinook that had it’s cockpit, front rotor and forward gearbox blown out will ever touch a cloud again. It will be cannibalized and scrapped or donated to a school.

Never underestimate how much shit the U.S is eating or how much money the military wastes. You don’t become one of the top 3 contributors to climate change by recycling and making smart decisions.

    At least 2 Destroyed/ 5 Damaged

    2+5 = 8

Though, to be fair, at the rate these things have been getting hit, it’s possible another was damaged in the 24 hours since this was made, so it’s just future-proofing a little so they don’t have to make a new one every day.
