      Communists love democracy so much that they believe that the working class themselves should administer the state.

      That’s participatory democracy, a type of democracy which is denied by bourgeois democracy with it’s overemphasis on representative democracy.

      The authoritarian left really ruined the word communist didn’t they. nothing is more communist than collective decision making.

        Communism requires an anti-democratic process to transition from capitalism. It does not mean workers get a say in the means of production, merely that they (by proxy) control it. The proxy is the regime.
