I saw this the other day and in that time I immediately deleted my account on Feddit.org. I’m not going to associate myself with this server if they are going to uphold and support Zionism. I don’t care if it is for German law or not. Also their whining and complaining about defederation is laughable and makes them seem more petty than lemmy.ml, who didn’t whine and complain and threaten counter defederation when they got blocked by any of these other servers.
This is a historic moment because it’s the first time that a server I’ve joined has ended up becoming one of the few servers I actively work to embargo however I feasibly can.

YDI/YDM, you were warned to stop and were even given a temporary ban for it. The fact that you’re here whining about it like you’ve been wrongfully treated proves you didn’t learn your lesson or even get the memo.

That’s why I said the problem is the Mods of !europe@feddit.org, or rather an anonymous mod there who is acting out of their own biases for Zionism or against Zionist criticism. It’s not some attempt to stay legal in the eyes of the instance admins there or “gERmAn lAw” it’s personal and unprofessional mod conduct in the community.

I’m not seeing it, that person seems to be a Zionist troll and is labeling things which criticize Israel or zionism as a whole to be antisemitic.

For all the people saying it’s the instance trying to cover themselves, No. This is a mod account which is not an admin nor appears to be affiliated with the Admins. This is very clearly a person trying to frame criticism of Zionism as antisemitic to attempt to suppress criticism of Israel and their actions. PTB.

I was thinking exactly that, she is certainly behaving very similarly to how Beaver did back in the day and is absolutely power-tripping now. If banning people who criticize the mod’s posts in any way is power-tripping, then accusing people of being fake vegans for disagreeing is absolutely power tripping.
