Trump has floated Venezuela as the United States’ 51st state while showing off a claimed 1-million-barrel oil tanker.

Hey, don’t compare these ruthless thieves with proud pirates that often tried to build egalitarian societies.

How many 51st states can one ompa lumpa make? You’d think that there is only one 51st state but I guess all is possible when you are pedo enough.

How about we start with our actual territories first?

    Puerto Rico - 51
    US Virgin Islands - 52
    Guam - 53
    American Samoa - 54
    Northern Mariana Islands - 55

Hey, he loves the Virgin Islands, he’s been there on several occasions. Well, one particular island.

It should not matter how they would vote, just that they are colonies that deserve to be added to the union.

Wrong. They deserve to be paid massive reperations and allowed to vote if they want to either become a state or become an independent nation. With a referendum being held. Let us not just assume they would want to join AmeriKKKa.

Obviously voluntary, although Puerto Rico has already had that referendum and the US Congress completely ignored it. USVI did too, but they voted to stay a territory.

My point was to actually give first dibs on statehood to the territories, not to force them or to force Venezuela.

This is never going to happen for a variety of reasons, but if it somehow did, I think it would play out almost exactly the way napoleon’s invasion and occupation of Spain did. You have the imperial forces tied up in the east while a puppet government is set up to rule. The citizens, unhappy with this, would rise up in the form of guerrilla warfare and slowly drain the occupying forces of resources and men while the main attention is elsewhere.

Lmao does he get what that would entail? Like what the actual fuck.

Of course he doesn’t, but envisioning millions of Venezuelans becoming US citizens overnight and the possible unforeseen ripple effects of such a thing is very funny.

He must really think that “50 states are good but 51 is gooder” and keeps saying this because he thinks it’s a good thing

Venezuela didn’t even want to join Grand Columbia. Doubt they’d want to join the US.
