I just can’t see this going through. The ISF would violate a core Israeli security doctrine of no foreign armies on or within its borders. Reminds them too much of Rome. They’ll begin bombing before allowing that to come in.
Does Israel even consider the US to be a foreign military?
yes, and they are even somewhat hostile.
Netanyahu has explicitly said that the USA is the “New Rome”, the original Rome being the origin of a “great tragedy” for the Jewish people. https://2017-2021.state.gov/remarks-with-israeli-prime-minister-benjamin-netanyahu-before-dinner/
Recently when asked about a book he was reading, Netanyahu revealed he was reading “The Jews vs. Rome” by Barry Strauss. “We lost that one,” he said, and added, “We have to win the next one.” https://www.instagram.com/reel/DQ-nivNDBwk/
The US’s love for Israel is very one-way. But Israel’s survival depends on that love, so they try to keep their feelings low-key.
I guess we’ll see who wags who.
Mondoweiss doing the work of the zionists presenting plans and announcements as if they are material facts on the ground.
Never spread the occupation’s propaganda, and do not contribute to instilling a sense of defeat. This must be focused on, for soon, we will start talking about a massive invasion in Beit Lahia and Al-Nuseirat, for example. Never spread panic; be supportive of the resistance and do not spread any news broadcast by the occupation. (Forget about the ethics and impartiality of journalism; just as the Zionist journalist is a fighter, so are you.)
