Alright let me start by saying that genocide is bad in any context. People are people and deserve to live and pursue a happy life.

Now about Palestine. Worst case scenario is genocide which is slowly becoming the most likely scenario.

But what I am curious about is what is best cast scenario? Unless I am wrong, we currently have a failed micro-state that’s infrastructure has been systematically destroyed. Even if Israel pulled out immediately doing nothing elesr and allowing humanitarian aid to come through. What then? Hasn’t the damage been severe enough and Israel expansion into the West Bank been egregious enough that the only way for Palestinians to live a notmal life would be to integrate into Israel?

I think you need to learn more about the history of this conflict. Because you seem to think that Palestinian integration into Israel is a possibility while in reality the Israelis would violently refuse to allow such a thing. This is really a central issue in the 80 year conflict - the demand by the Palestinians has always been the “right to return”. Israel is concerned with the demographic consequences - they are committed to remaining a Jewish state, an ethnostate.

      Some books I would recommend:

“The Question of Palestine” by Edward Said

“The 100 years war on Palestine” by Rashid Khalidi

“The ethnic cleansing of Palestine” by Ilan Pape

“The Israel Lobby” by John Mearsheimer and Stephen Walt - which not only covers organizations like AIPAC but also covers the history of Israeli intransigence.

I know that Palestinian integration into Israel is not feasible. But what is the alternative at this point besides genocide? I genuinely want to know. I want to know what the best case scenario looks like.
