I agree generally with Ken’s sentiment but I actually think that, while the media does fear-monger over the wrong things, they should not be looked at as overall fear-mongers. I think they could do a much better job of highlighting the points at which the Trump administration crosses boundaries, instead of reporting on incidents in a way that normalizes them. For example, the fact ICE killed a guy in Chicago for basically just reacting in a normal way should be highlighted way more.
