“A red ball cap with ‘felon’ across the top of it, ‘is he dead yet?’ and some other innuendo about his obituary — we’re referring to the President of the United States,” Schneider told us Friday. “Also, a number, 86-47, which is removal of the President, who is the 47th president of the United States.”

FUCK YOU, YOU IGNORANT TOADY FASCIST SHITHEAD

Really should have had more positive or neutral messaging, like “nothing you can do, folks. Although the Second Amendment people - maybe there is. I don’t know.”

None of these are as much a call to violence as let’s say, offering to pay someone’s legal fees should they assault someone. I think the government determined that was alright almost 10 years ago so long as the right guy said it.

I’ll just say that the decision to press the two buttons in question was stupid. There are willing and eager informants everywhere, but especially at an Ohio fair. And in general I’m against the coarsening of our culture, especially with regard to political messages.

That said, I could comment on nearly every part of this article. I’ll restrain myself, though…

Local TV’s maudlin opening, which you can literally hear in a newscaster’s voice:

When Ohioans attend the fair, they expect a family-friendly day in the sun—but some community members told us that wasn’t what they got, due to a now-shut-down booth.

Typical of the king-like veneration Confederates imbue their leaders with:

Schneider said that he reported the incident to Trump’s Secret Service, and his department is looking into possible criminal charges, as he and Kaufman thought they were threatening.

      Then this at the end:

Fairs should be a place to unite, Kaufman said, not divide. “We have to come together, we really do,” he said.
