Actually we are cutting our losses and moving back to her home country. We’d stay and tough it out if we didn’t have a kid. But it’s hard decision and struggle with Trump‘s idiotic domestic policy, along with skyrocketing cost-of-living and completely unrealistic prices on health insurance.

I’m not even worried about the money to me, an idiot, the problem is:

1. Trump told Harvard to eliminate DEI positions
2. Trump admin scrubs diversity and DEI programs from public schools
3. Trump tries to eliminate foreign Harvard enrollment
4. Trump tries to dictate History lessons including history.

Will Trump try to eliminate foreign or non-citizen enrollment in public schools? I know people think I am over-cautious here but My wife is a green card holder, what sorta prejudice does this open us up too?

A complete restructuring of our educational system at the moment. Right now there’s so many title one schools per state, which receives funding for additional educational assistance for students with low test scores. Money to hire in class para educators and teacher assistance, hell some of the schools in my state, even get money so that we can provide breakfast and lunch for kids who can’t afford it.

I don’t have hard concrete numbers right now, but the last time I checked Florida was receiving billions of dollars in student money that basically amounted to $2000 per kid in public schools 

Just asking but what about Kansas that has 3/4 districts support the President and a Dem gov cause our most populated district is the blue one? Do we get the money? Half? Maybe we get the money but we go screw ourselves later?

What a tragedy. Too bad Musk walked away scott free and Trump is too much of a narcissist to realize that other people matter.
