There are very few genocides you can directly compare to the Holocaust as its scale and speed was unprecedented even for the time.

It’s hard to define any genocide as worse or better than another, genocide is bad in every way shape and form. I could argue that in terms of scale and effectiveness there are many contenders which would be worse than the holocaust. The Genocide of the native Americans was several orders of magnitude greater in scale but also in time, and also in effectiveness wiping out 95% of them. It was significantly slower though going on over a few hundred years. So it’s difficult to compare them.

I’m unsure you can compare any other genocide to the Holocaust in accordance with German law.

They would never acknowledge any as being worse due to personal shame and trying to codify acceptable speech through law. Even if it killed more people, in a shorter amount of time and forced said population or culture to extinction entirely. They would probably never admit it unless it would make Germany look better.

What I wasn’t expecting is Ada’s response. She said in the modlogs she also felt the post was rage bait. I didn’t see that coming because I didn’t think Ada was a zionist. I thought she would be fine with seeing zionists get angry, because they get angry over the most mild things.

Seems like they’ve been banning people who don’t cater to or go along with their Zionist apologia. They’ve also been locking and removing many such posts in support of Palestine, or critical of Israel.

Got it, so you support the occupation and Colonization of Palestine. Here’s an idea. If you think Israel needs to exist so badly, why not just give them Germany? If anything you owe them that, not some small arab country who didn’t have any part in the atrocities. That’s why people are against Israel, having your homeland taken from you by someone else to make a home for an ethic group that, arguably does not need their own country isn’t cool, it’s even less cool when they start killing your people, including women and children.

Let’s remember. Judaism is a religious minority comprising many different people with many different views. Zionism is a political nationalist movement supported by specific people. They are not the same thing. For one, it is not supported by all Jewish people, nor are all of its supporters even Jewish. So if someone tells you that you’re being Antisemitic for criticizing Zionism or Israel, tell them to fuck off. It’s clear they aren’t acting in good faith, just like those dipshits arguing that Greta Thunberg is antisemitic.
