  • 🇺🇸 According to USNI News—the media arm of the U.S. Naval Institute—the USS George H.W. Bush (CVN-77) is operating off Namibia, taking an unusual route around Africa to join a growing U.S. naval buildup in the Arabian Sea amid a U.S. blockade of the Strait of Hormuz.

Instead of transiting the Strait of Gibraltar and Mediterranean, the strike group—escorted by USS Donald Cook (DDG-75), USS Mason (DDG-87), USS Ross (DDG-71), and supported by USNS Arctic (TAOE-8)—is bypassing the Red Sea and Bab el-Mandeb.

ℹ️Earlier today, some reports said it had crossed Gibraltar; however, this now appears not to be the case.

  • “Two wrongs don’t make a write Iran are being privateers”

Boo fucking hoo! Their shitty little microstate cooperated with the west to illegally strangle Iran’s economy for decades and now they want to cry foul?!

The US has been acting like international pirate terrorists for its entire existence, yet somehow Iran is the murderous regime of privateers?

The rest of the world stood by and watched with their thumbs in their asses while Iran was prevented from imporing even the most basic goods as these countries passed their tankers through the straight of Hormuz.

Iran has every fucking right to strangle the global economy after the "global economy* strangled it.

The countries that piss me off the most besides the direct imperialists are the the fucking “chihuahua states” as I call them. The fucking small or even microscopic little bastards on the map which act as if their benifets from their imperial vassal status some changes the fact that they are insignificant in the face of actual sovereign or semi-soverign states.

Azerbaijan and Singapore are like the prime example of what I’m talking about.

  • 🇮🇶 Nizar Amidi elected President of Iraq

Nizar Amidi of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK) was elected with 227 of 249 votes today, becoming Iraq’s 6th president since 2003.

Born in 1968 in Duhok, Kurdistan, Amidi spent two decades as personal secretary and chief of staff to three Iraqi presidents, including the late Jalal Talabani. A mechanical engineer by training, he served as Environment Minister from 2022-2024 before resigning to focus on party work.

The PUK is the more pro-Iran, pro-Baghdad Kurdish faction, and is backed by the Shia Coordination Framework. He’s not an ideologue but a careful institutionalist who knows how Baghdad’s machinery works. The KDP boycotted the session entirely.

His election comes as US-Iran talks proceed in Islamabad and Washington continues to pressure Baghdad over the prime ministerial race.

    Breif Thoughts

I don’t know anything about the Iraqi political landscape so I can’t comment on him, however I’m interested to see what a pro-Iranian Kurdish party does while in the president’s seat. I’d imagine navigating that landscape is difficult, but I’d appreciate the input if Iraqi comrades. I’d honestly like to see Hakim’s perspective on Iraq’s role during this war.

I’m posting this in this thread because I felt that changes in Iraq’s political situation will effect the conflict moving forward.

  • ❗️Statement issued by Hezbollah on the Israeli attack on the Government Serail in Nabatieh:

"The Israeli enemy today committed a major massacre, following its massacre on “Black Wednesday,” targeting the Government Serail in the city of Nabatieh, which led to the killing of 13 members of the State Security apparatus. This constitutes a blatant and dangerous attack on an official sovereign security institution, confirming that this enemy is escalating its violations against all of Lebanon—its state, people, and institutions—in an attempt to inflict the greatest possible losses and destruction, break the will of the steadfast population, and cover up its major failures on the ground.

This criminal aggression places the Lebanese state before grave responsibilities that cannot be evaded. At a time when it rushes to seek direct negotiations with the enemy under fire—relinquishing leverage and the gains achieved by resistance fighters on the battlefield under the pretext of formal sovereignty—real sovereignty is left exposed to the enemy’s missiles, aircraft, and crimes.

Despite all the concessions that have been and continue to be made to the enemy, despite the massacres, killing, and destruction it has carried out without any guarantees in return, and amid ongoing efforts to strip legitimacy from the defensive resistance—whose role is protected by the constitution and international law—the enemy is sending a message in blood: that everything is permissible under its aggression, and that every concession is met with further violations and destruction.

While condemning this brutal massacre, Hezbollah extends its deepest condolences to the families of the victims and to the State Security institution—its leadership, officers, and personnel—and calls on the authorities to recognize the danger of a path of concessions to an enemy that understands only force, and to return to their natural position alongside their people and their resistance. Through national unity, resilience, and steadfastness, Lebanon will overcome this aggression and emerge victorious, God willing."

  • ❗️Israeli Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich:

    • “There will be a final diplomatic round in Gaza that will expand our borders.”

    • “There will be a final diplomatic round in Lebanon that will expand our borders up to the Litani River, making them defensible.”

    • “There will be a final diplomatic round in Syria… in Quneitra, Mount Hermon, and Hauran… at a minimum.”

    My general thoughts

I took a break from posting for today due to other responsibilities.

Regardless, Israel continues to dig its own grave, and I await the day to celebrate their final destruction.

I’m still not entirely sure what the US is going to do. They’re obviously not abiding by the ceasefire but it’s not as if anything has changed to make the field of war more favorable for them.

The simplest solution would be to cut their losses and leave Israel to its fate but the empire has clearly shown its unwillingness to abandon the zionist entity. A ground invasion is obviously going to be a slaughterfest disaster, which only really threatens to worsen the current situation further. A nuclear weapon is an option but it doesn’t actually help achieve any of the goals that the US has while also threatening response from other nuclearly capable states. There isn’t really a way out for the US that doesn’t eitheir humiliate them or accelerate their decline.

  • ❗️Palestinian children’s rights group shuts down amid sustained Israeli pressure

Defense for Children International - Palestine (DCIP) announced it has ceased operations after 35 years of documenting violations against Palestinian children, citing Israel’s targeted criminalization and restrictions on human rights organizations. The Ramallah-based charity said the increasingly hostile environment made it impossible to continue its work protecting minors affected by military operations and detention practices.

Founded in 1991, DCIP has long been a critical source for international organizations, journalists, and legal advocates, reporting on cases of torture, abuse, and administrative detention of Palestinian children and minors. Rights defenders warn that its closure leaves a major gap in independent monitoring amid ongoing conflict and humanitarian crises.

The announcement comes as Israel escalates legal and political pressure on Palestinian NGOs, including last year’s order forcing 37 organizations to shut down for refusing to comply with new restrictions on staff disclosure, raising broader concerns about the future of independent human rights documentation.

  • ❗️Secretariat of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council (1/2) & (2/2):

    Full Text

"The noble Iranian people must know that, thanks to the sacrifices of their sons and their historic presence on the battlefield, the enemy has, for over a month, been pleading for a halt to the intense fire launched by Iran and the Axis of Resistance. However, the country’s officials—based on a decision taken from the outset to continue the war until its objectives are achieved, including forcing the enemy into regret, incapacity, and the removal of long-term threats to the country—have rejected all such requests. The war has continued up to today, the fortieth day. Iran has also repeatedly rejected warnings issued by the President of the United States and continues to affirm that it gives no importance to such threats from the enemy.

Now, we bring good news to the great Iranian people: most of the war’s objectives have nearly been achieved, and your brave sons have brought the enemy to a historic incapacity and lasting defeat. Iran’s historic decision, backed by popular consensus, is to continue this battle—whatever the cost—until its major gains are secured and new security and political equations are imposed in the region based on recognition of the strength and sovereignty of Iran and the Axis of Resistance.

In this context, and in accordance with the directives of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Sayyid Mojtaba Khamenei, and with the approval of the Supreme National Security Council, and in light of Iran and the Axis of Resistance’s superiority on the ground and the enemy’s inability to carry out its threats despite its claims—and its formal acceptance of all the Iranian people’s demands—it has been decided to hold negotiations in Islamabad to finalize the details. Within a maximum of 15 days, Iran’s battlefield victory is to be politically consolidated as well.

Accordingly, after rejecting all proposals submitted by the enemy, Iran has prepared a 10-point plan and presented it to the American side via Pakistan. The plan includes key points such as: regulated passage through the Strait of Hormuz in coordination with Iranian armed forces to enhance Iran’s economic and geopolitical standing; ending the war against all components of the Axis of Resistance; withdrawal of U.S. combat forces from all bases in the region; establishing a secure navigation protocol in the Strait of Hormuz ensuring Iran’s control under agreement; full payment of compensation to Iran; lifting all primary and secondary sanctions as well as UN and IAEA measures; release of all frozen Iranian assets abroad; and enshrining all of this in a binding UN Security Council resolution. The adoption of such a resolution would turn these understandings into binding international law and represent a major diplomatic victory for the Iranian people.

The Prime Minister of Pakistan has informed Iran that the American side, despite its public threats, has accepted these principles as a basis for negotiations and yielded to the will of the Iranian people. Accordingly, it has been decided at the highest level that Iran will enter negotiations for only two weeks, based on these principles, in Islamabad with the American side. It is emphasized that this does not mean the end of the war, as Iran will not accept its conclusion until the details of these principles are secured through negotiations.

    https://t.me/thecradlemedia/56982

"These talks will begin, with complete distrust toward the American side, on Friday, 21 Farvardin, in Islamabad. They are set for two weeks, with the possibility of extension by mutual agreement. During this period, it is essential to maintain full national unity and continue celebrations of victory. The current negotiations are national negotiations and an extension of the battlefield, and all segments of society, elites, and political currents must support this path under the supervision of the leadership and avoid any divisive statements. If the enemy’s surrender on the battlefield is transformed into a decisive political achievement in negotiations, we will celebrate this great historic victory together. Otherwise, we will continue the fight side by side until all the demands of the Iranian people are achieved.

Our hands remain on the trigger, and any small mistake by the enemy will be met with full force."
