After watching the Veritasium video - yep. Effectively all water on Earth is poisoned with a variety of man-made bio-accumulating carcinogens, including PFAS. Even freshwater sources thousands of miles from any industry is poisoned. Somewhere between 98 and 100% of all humans alive have a measurably higher cancer risk because of it.

As a bonus, most of this pollution was done long-after DuPont and 3M realised these chemicals were long-lasting, leaching into water supplies, and poisonous at smaller concentrations than they could even measure. But they did make a lot of profit!

The company town can’t have more than like 250 residences. How incredibly poorly organised was this that they’re already evicting people for zoning reasons??
