AJC Statement on Australian Plans to Recognize Palestinian Statehood

Today’s announcement by Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese and Minister of Foreign Affairs Penny Wong that Australia will recognize Palestinian statehood next month at the United Nations General Assembly is deeply disappointing and counterproductive.
