Loeb is pretty famous for asking the “is it alien tech” question for the past few interstellar visitors we’ve had. Oumamoua was the only only plausible one but even that object’s bizarre trajectory change could be explained by either an unknown planetary body in the oort cloud or an exploding pocket of gas or ice on the surface.
It’s genuinely irresponsible to bill this guy as “Harvard scientist” and not “alien conspiracy theorist”. He’s been discredited on this matter for almost a decade and promotes ideas like an alien Messiah coming to Earth, or that life was deliberately brought here by aliens.
