DNI Tulsi Gabbard claims newly released evidence proves former President Obama orchestrated the 2016 intelligence assessment to falsely link Trump to Russian interference for political purposes.
Specifically saying he’d imprison Obama, a former president, based on specific (rather flimsy) claims rather than the vague collective democrats is a substantial change, and I think justifies reporting it. Not like there aren’t way less important news stories out there.
Is this really news, Obama was president and in charge of those organizations that did the probe.
The newsworthiness of this imo is mostly the fact that Gabbard/the Trump admin are saying it now.
Why? They’ve been saying it was the democrats. How is trump going back to the obama well different?
