    They’re both “”“free market”“” 🙂

And anyway, I’m sure wasting 12x as much industrial output on weapons and still ending up in what is basically a stalemate is very sustainable and cool and a thing that the Russian people are Very Happy About

the number of repliers talking about the efficiency due to centralization of the russian war machine really make me question if anyone reads hsc anymore. or anything else, really

A lot of Russian weapon systems and ammo factories are soviet, the fact that they’re able to crank them up and outpace the entire west in ammo production speaks volumes about the efficiency of free market.

That’s heavy quotations. A good chunk of Russian defense industry is descended from Soviet industry and pretty much nationalized instead of spread out amongst as many private contractors as possible; not that those don’t exist in Russia.

      basically a stalemate

Judging by how much territory slabba poopani is conceding over the course of the entire war and the mineral deals/territory it had to give up to the United States for it to just halt weapons shipments anyways compared to Russia slowly inching along and ramping up 12x production against a Nazi state backed by the already-faltering imperialist west…I’d doubt it. Maybe they can shout some more slaba poopani chants and kill some more kids in Donetsk to appease the NATO demons.

Is Russia’s defense sector free market? I thought it was state controlled through Rostec which is why they were able to ramp up effectively.

It’s not a stalemate, it’s a complete Russian victory across the board. They have defeated 3 Ukrainian armies, equipped with the entire equipment inventories of western nations.

This isn’t Russia vs. Ukraine, it’s Russia vs. NATO and Russia won single-handedly while acting in a very restrained way to minimize civilian casualties and Russian soldier losses.

Yes “free” market in quotations. The point is that the west is basically deindustrialized and some nations couldnt ramp up arms production even if they wanted. I dont think this war is “good” for Russia but its not just Russia vs Ukraine but Russia vs Ukraine and the collective west pouring arms into Ukraine. How many wunderwaffen were delivered to Ukraine by now ? How many of them had any real impact ?

If anything this war proves that the west is thankfully is not ready for war with China.
