“Where’s Daddy?” was an offshoot of “Lavender”, an AI program that, using Israel’s knowledge of the names and addresses of everyone in Gaza, and detailed surveillance of mobile phone (cellphone) use, built up profiles ranking every individual on their suspected involvement in, or affiliation with militant groups, generating “kill lists” for those with a high score, which were then, with almost no human oversight whatsoever, translated into targeted missile or bomb attacks on these locations, with little or no concern for the extent of civilian “collateral damage” involved.

That doesn’t seem… great.

i fear that this level of cruelty and international support will be genuinely hard to believe in the future.

And future generations will deny this ever happened, because “How can humanity as a whole, be so cruel?”
