Vice President JD Vance thinks that Americans are too worried about the “little things” ahead of midterms—like gas prices, debt, Immigration and Customs Enforcement killings, and war.

“This is not the time to sort of gripe about all the little things.… I think every single person who voted for us in 2024 could find something where they wish maybe congressional Republicans had gone further,” Vance told Fox News on Thursday. “The challenge here is between Democrats who want to destroy the country, who want to permanently disempower you … and Republicans who fundamentally are trying to solve the problems that Democrats under Joe Biden created.”

Well, not all of us have a debilitating fetish for couches, so we focus on “little things” like paying for housing and feeding our families

We should be focused on the big things. I agree.

Like my powerful need to eat. (along with the rest of my family’s).

Also my powerful need to be safe and health care.

And generally have a functional government that respects my most basic rights as a person.

Did I mention my powerful need to eat?

Sorry, that’s part of “affordability” a made-up word by the Dumocrats (did you even know dumb has a b in it?) and also “JD” says it’s part of the “little things”.

So…if you are going into debt just to eat, don’t worry, that’s “little things” and “JD” “Vance” has some real galaxy-brain shit to talk to you about.

Little things: little paycheques, little future, little opportunity, little hope. Little things.

and Republicans who fundamentally are trying to solve the problems that Democrats under Joe Biden created.

Do dickheads like “JD” or any other accomplices name what any of these are and specifically which policies caused them?

The little things: affordable health-insurance, being able to eat, having a job that pays enough, affordable housing instead of homelessness.

Trump has been president for 6 of the last 10 years, it’s wild to think that anyone buys this childish “but Biden!” shit.

Hi, this is your regularly scheduled reminder that every Republican accusation is really a confession.

As usual, still out of touch with average issues that affect mainstreet and the average joe. Does “It’s the economy, stupid” ring a bell?

I’m remember how the chattering class was so busy lecturing all Democrats and any in the base about how terrible it was to even mention that Biden was doing well on the economy, because, well, vibes, man. Even if true. Because how dare you, all the data showing things are going in the right direction is “not the real economy” (groan).

Now we have these right wing assholes saying right the fuck out loud the most out of touch and wildly insensitive bullshit as they actively make everything so much worse when it comes to the economy.

I wonder where all the waves of reactionary centrists and tone police are now to wag their finger at Republicans?

well hopefully they get pissed off enough to vote and make a difference, this isn’t an election to ride out on the side lines. I think there are too many dumpster fires currently for event the stingiest of people not to notice and set aside their single issue voting policy to help correct the ship. Ballots have already gone out and I’ve already cast my vote.
