Opinion of one of the Simurg Admins
🇮🇷President Pezeshkian has promised the Leader of the Revolution to resign if a deal with the US isn’t clenched.
Iranians are sick and tired of political stunts by the Reformist governments that have returned little other than misery and poverty for them, while enriching the so-called “Reform Mafia” by 100s of billions of dollars.
Pezeshkian will not resign and is likely to concede any and all rights that Iran possesses since it’s become crystal clear that he’s essentially on a mission for the Iranian oligarchs such as Ansari, Mar’ashi and others.
During the 40-day War, the Trump regime specifically targeted industrial production in Iran, including the pharmaceutical industry.
Iranian oligarchs view domestic innovation and production as rivaling their massively lucrative import-export gig.
Even Western sanctions since the 2009 “election riots” have been designed in such a way as to enrich the pro-West businesses and deprive popular concerns.
The Islamic Republic needs to systematically clean house in order to preserve the achievements of nearly 50 years worth of national sacrifice.
@SimurghRes
Finally people are talking about this.
The reformists are speedrunning selling Iran out. Its ridiculous that they’re capitulating after all the cards they hold. I guess the bourgeoise are terrified of additional sanctions or their assets in Western countries being seized.
Either way, really need Imam Khamenei to step in and get rid of these snakes
It’s not about fear for them. They don’t really fear much about the US. The Iranian oligarchs want to be able to access western markets and enruch themselves further, as they could very easily compete with most global players today.
It’s not a fear of West, it’s envy of their opulence, and an all encompassing greed.
Would him agreeing to concede all these rights possessed by Iran even work out? Don’t they have to be approved by the supreme leader to actually work?
The reformists used this playbook before. Agree to concessions that they know the leader won’t accept, then when the negotiations fall through, the reformists use it to paint the principalists and IRGC as unwilling to make concessions. From there they use the various media outlets the oligarchs own to stir up their supporters into a frenzy.
This the time though, they don’t have a support base among the population, especially compared to the very agitated and mobilized public that currently exists in Iran.
And there have been several important people like the relative (or son) or Ayatullah Khomeini saying that “anyone that negotiates with US empire is a traitor”. Let’s hope the Reformists actually try to do something like this and then get their asses handed to them by the public
Ain’t no way
Tbf this is what reformists across the world have always done. This is why during imperial wars of aggression, reformists need to be stripped of power. Let them have a voice, but their hands should be tied, because when they’re not, they always sell out their people.
I hope the reformists responsible for this are hanged in a public square in Tehran. No reformists in Iran should ever have the balls to betray the Iranian people ever again. Make them spit blood and show everyone else what it means to betray the Iranians
The great martyred leader of the revolution, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei has been buried.
May God bless his soul eternally.
🇮🇷Seyyed Ali Khomeini, speaking at the memorial service for the martyred Leader:
“The current negotiation is not a peace negotiation; the country is at war. Anyone who negotiates for peace with the United States is a traitor.”

Let’s goooo

🇺🇸🇮🇷The areas struck by the Trump regime in southern Iran earlier. Both the Zionist apartheid entity and Bahrain are said to have played an active part.
@SimurghRes

This is why negotiating with the imperalists is a nbad decision. They take diplomacy to mean weakness, and will go back on every promise they make.
Iran needs to do more than just strike a few already destroyed bases. They must remind the imperialists that Islamic Republic can wipe every one of their assets and proxies off the map.
So according to Nima there were some himars strikes from bahraine and kuwait. Iran is placing mines in the Omani side of the strait. There are Iranian jets patrolling over Tehran.
I think the oil tankers that Iran has been hitting were headed fro usa and Iran stopping them is what has made trump angry. The american oil reserve is basically tapped and Iran is demanding that the MoU be followed so usa doesn’t get any oil till they stop the israelis, release the stolen funds, and lift some sanctions.
I genuinely hope this leads to Pezeshkian and Aragchi being thrown out on their asses, if not imprisoned, and being replaced by IRGC hardliners who know how to use their drones and missiles instead of tweets that go against Iran’s interests
Thank you for the actual details! Unlike certain megathreads!!
I found a YouTube link in your comment. Here are links to the same video on alternative frontends that protect your privacy:
🇮🇷🇺🇸| In the last 24h, Iran has hit 5 tankers in the Strait of Hormoz following warnings by the IRGC that were ignored.
The latest 3 are:

VIDEO | A video from Tehran, Iran, shows protesters marching with banners featuring crosshairs over the faces of Laura Loomer, Trump, Ben Shapiro, Miriam Adelson, Lindsey Graham, and others, accompanied by a caption in English stating, “Sooner or later, your heads will roll.”
Those are really good. I wonder if they will sell them as commemorative T-shirts, like after the fact so that it isn’t a threat anymore.

Very terrifying to see my basic predictions about the arc of US-Russian/Iranian affairs come true. Hitting electricity & bridges is exactly what everyone pointed out was holding back the US from entering a huge escalation spiral. An even bigger one going as far out as the Indian Ocean. I assume you saw that it came out Iran’s damage to Israel’s power grid was far more severe than revealed initially.
It seems like there may be more fear of the alternative, Iran not entering the escalation spiral, which I agree would be worse, but this is very very bad & I don’t see any way out, maybe people are right we will keep falling back to low-intensity as both sides benefit from stalling in some respects. I hope they destroy everyone in my industry bring it on. Revenge

🇮🇷 Khatam al-Anbiya Headquarters: We will not allow America to interfere in the affairs of the Strait of Hormuz or its management
Statement from Iran’s Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters:
Expand
The unprecedented turnout at the funeral and farewell procession for the martyred leader of the Islamic Ummah dealt a humiliating defeat to global arrogance and the criminal United States.
The US terrorist military, honoring none of its commitments, and at a time when the sacred body of the martyred leader of the world’s Muslims and free peoples was still a guest of the officials and valiant people of Iraq, struck several points in our beloved southern Iran in a blatant act of aggression.
The armed forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran will deliver a crushing response to this American act of aggression and terrorism, and will under no circumstances allow interference in the affairs of the Strait of Hormuz or its management.
It is once again declared that the only safe passage for commercial vessels and oil tankers through the Strait of Hormuz is the route designated by the Islamic Republic of Iran.

Trump to remove Syria from terror list after meeting with former Al-Qaeda chief
The move will unlock US military aid to Damascus under the pretext that Syrian President Ahmad al-Sharaa’s extremist-dominated Syrian army is fighting terrorism
If Osama bin Laden survived a few years more he could have found himself allied with USrael.
He was for most of his career.
I don’t know much about bin Laden, but I remember reading his letter to Americans and it seemed that he was not on the side of Israel when I read it.
🇮🇷 General Mohsen Rezaei during a televised interview 16 hours ago:
“I urge those who oppose the negotiations to exercise patience since the Americans themselves are undermining these negotiations and will prevent them from reaching a conclusion. The revolution we are engaged in cannot be reduced to mere military actions. The revolution currently underway in Iran encompasses military defense and the punishment of Netanyahu and Trump; above all, it involves the rising awareness of the region’s nations.”
