i’m banned for a few of Zir communities that as far i know i’ve never interacted with (including at least one that isn’t federated on my server). i’m unbothered by it because they’re not communities i’m interested in. it just struck me as odd.

i don’t think it’s constructive to call what @MysticMushroom1776@lemmy.dbzer0.com posts slop. you might not like it, and might not be interested in it (i’m i fill both categories) however, slop is ai generated stuff meant to influence political outcomes or to turn a quick buck to garner engagement on platforms with monetization. Ze is doing no such thing. Ze’re interested in exploring the space of generative AI on Zir hardware
They just want to be able to brigade communities under the guise of “expressing their own opinion”. This is the main reason people complain about being banned from communities they “never intended to interact with”.
They fully intend to interact with them, and they’re salty and angry that mods can ban them before they get the opportunity.
It’s the same as when people complain about Blahaj being too strict or unfriendly to cishets/Tankies. They wanted to stir shit, got in a time out, and never second guessed why.

I got pre-emptively banned too. I had never even interacted with them lol.
I don’t care, and actually I defended mods right to do that in a ptb thread about it. I just think it’s rich they’re saying PTB
