Thé Quincy Institute for responsible statecraft, behind this website, seems to pretty much peddle the Russian messages on geopolitics. Therefore, I’ll read what they have to say with quite a grain of salt.

Have you read the article then? Because it uses officials statements on x.com like those of macrons and then again replys of un legal experts. Is this what we are to read with grain of salt? Are un experts Russian messagers now?

Oh the sweet Iranians in power, so nice.

    /s

If Iran wouldn’t have repeatedly publicly claimed their aim was to nuke Israel out of existance, maybe Israel wouldn’t have bombed their soon to be ready nuclear facility and top management?

If we are going by public claims, then Iran is a saint compared to Israel. So then going by the claims of top israeli government officials, what fate would be, by your standard, justified to befall the Israelies?

Am currently reading. That of course has nothing to do with the topic. Yes public claims. This is also not whataboutism, it just shows nicely that you are a hypocrite. Whataboutism would be me saying to disregard one because of other, Im saying that yes one is bad, but of course the other is so much worse. Lets stay consistent.

If Iran were to obtain a nuclear weapon, it would stabilize the Middle East by providing a deterrent for Israel’s psychopathic aggression and malice. They are the only powerful country actively supporting Palestinians in their resistance to this aggression. Everyone should support Iran and its nuclear ambitions.

Hoping a theocratic dictatorship will “stabilise” anything is like saying that if we kill everyone there will ve peace.

Edit: “if the nazi germany had nukes it would have stabilised europe”

No it isn’t. And by the way “If we kill everyone there will be peace” is the essential, core ideology of Zionism.

Let’s ignore our opinions of Iran and look at JUST the media coverage.

Was Israel widely condemned for bombing Iran and killing a hundred civilians? No, not at all. It was framed as a justifiable preemptive strike.

Was Iran widely condemned for responding to the unprompted attack? Yes, absolutely. How dare they retaliate!

If someone publicly repeated that they were going to murder you, you’re not magically justified in murdering them first.

Oh yeah, I forgot about those precision missiles Israel has that hits an apartment building but only kills military targets.

Israel isn’t Ukraine. They don’t give a shit about collateral damage.
