President Donald Trump made a surprise announcement on Tuesday that the United States would stop bombing the Houthis in Yemen, insisting that the rebel group had agreed to stop attacking U.S. ships in the Red Sea.

“They’ve announced to us at least that they don’t want to fight anymore,” Trump said during an White House photo-op with Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney. “They just don’t want to fight, and we will honor that.”

    bombing each other

Really, when did the Houthis bomb the US? When did their latest volley rain down on LA? When did they last level New York City?

Only US media would obfuscate reality with this waffling bothsidesbothsides false equivalence

    Oops.

They let that cat out of the bag, didn’t they?

Which military contractor are they going to blame for his fuck up and actual assination now? Boeing? Palintir? Blackwater?

If they tell you anything on the first day of President school that you absolutely need to remember: DO NOT FUCK WITH MILITARY MONEY.

He’s been doing that since day one. European countries have cancelled a lot of military orders (Portugal cancelled several billion dollars worth of F35s for example), and he wouldn’t even let Ukraine order Patriot missiles (they weren’t asking for freebies, they were ready with cash). Europe has announced a several Trillion defence initiative which is to be spent on EU arms not US ones…

If the military industrial complex aren’t mad with him yet then they’re not paying attention.
