❗️Covert UN mission successfully rescues millions of historical Palestinian refugee documents from Gaza

A highly sensitive, ten-month clandestine operation by the United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA) successfully evacuated millions of historical archival documents from the Gaza Strip and East Jerusalem, safeguarding generations of Palestinian records. The Guardian reported on 14 May that the complex mission involved dozens of UN staff members across four countries racing against intense bombardment, cyberattacks, and shifting frontlines to prevent the permanent destruction of the files.

The rescued documents, many dating back to 1948, include original refugee registration cards, birth certificates, and land records that provide the sole legal and historical evidence of displacement for hundreds of thousands of stateless Palestinians.

The first phase of the 10-month operation began under heavy fire after Israeli forces ordered the evacuation of UNRWA’s Gaza City headquarters in 2024. Turning down appeals to leave the files behind, a small team utilized rented pickup trucks to smuggle the paper archives south to Rafah over three dangerous trips, eventually moving them into Egypt using international staff who hand-carried the records past border checkpoints.

Concurrently, as hostile protests and arson attacks targeted UNRWA’s East Jerusalem compound ahead of new Israeli legislation banning the agency, staff members secretly moved a parallel set of historic archives across the border into Jordan.

The entire collection has since been compiled in Amman, where an extensive digitization project funded by Luxembourg is currently underway in a secure facility. More than 50 personnel are working to scan roughly 30 million individual documents by hand, a meticulous process that experts estimate will take another two years to fully complete.

According to historians cited by The Guardian, the preservation of this national archive is critical for any future legal resolutions to the conflict, ensuring that Palestinians retain access to their verified family lineages and documented histories despite the total destruction of physical infrastructure inside the Palestinian territories.

This is actually incredible news. Given their effort to erase every aspect of Palestinian history, heritage, and culture, having these records slip through their fingers is a setback for ‘Israel’. Well done to the UNRWA staff involved, they pulled this off under genuine threat of violence and persecution by the zionist entity. This way, these documents remain a potential legal threat-in-being to the apartheid colony.

For every bit of fecklessness displayed by the UN as a whole, it’s important to recognize many of the workers with organizations like UNRWA are genuinely committed to their mission statement and willing to put their lives on the line for those ideals. Very noble people indeed, and they should be commended at every opportunity.

VIDEO | Israeli settlers and soldiers celebrating the return of an Israeli military unit screened footage showing the destruction and bombing of entire villages in south Lebanon, as cheers and laughter could be heard from the crowd.

Hezbollah military media music could also be heard playing in the background during the celebration.

Disgusting and deranged soceity. I hope that when the US inevitably restarts the war, Iran goes even further and levels every zionist outpost to dust. Make it look like Gaza, and let the settlers scurry like rats.

Iran (and the wider Axis of Resistance) should also treat the zionists the same way they have been treating Palestinians, Lebanese, and Indigenous people in West Asia. zionists deserve everything coming for them.

🇮🇷| Iran’s UN ambassador says Iran has formally told the UN that Persian Gulf states + Jordan must fully compensate Iran for war damages.

Iran says these countries helped or enabled aggression against Iran.

Qatar, Bahrain, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, UAE, and Jordan

He says they are responsible for both material and moral damages under international law.

🇺🇸🇮🇷 On the Next US Attack on Iran…

A US war of aggression is like a rocket launch. It depends on a multitude of factors being ready or “go” for launch.

If any critical system is not ready at a particular time, then the launch is scrubbed and rescheduled for the next available window.

Trump isn’t in charge of anything and makes zero decisions - except (maybe) the color tie he wears. He is not setting dates or conditions for attacks. He simply sells these decisions to the public.

US war against Iran has been planned and prepared for over decades and will “launch” when the unelected corporate interests actually driving US policy say it is “go,” based on conditions within material reality - not on an “elected” politician’s whims.

These conditions likely include available stockpiles, rates of replaced munitions, force postures (both US and Iranian), economic factors, etc.

Iran and its allies are even able to change these considerations by introducing additional means of deterrence that complicate US objectives necessitating additional preparations by the US to overcome such deterrence.

Many of these factors are secretive - all we can say for certain is that the US does not seek peace and will eventually restart hostilities, it is only a matter of “when.”

The purpose of further US attacks would be to provoke further degradation of regional energy exports (not just Iranian energy exports) to further cut off China and the rest of Asia, and enhance the ongoing US blockade of Iran.

Yes, the ultimate goal is toppling Iran’s government but there are many more immediate objectives and wider global objectives the US is pursuing as it targets any one single nation for eventual regime change.

Again, US policy is not dictated by figureheads like Trump or Hegseth.

It is directed by continuity of agenda and the interests behind it - the same interests behind Iraq, Libya, Syria, Venezuela, and Iran, spanning multiple US presidential administrations…

❗️Israeli citizen caught smuggling embryos through Cyprus as possible trafficking network comes under scrutiny

Turkish Cypriot outlet Bugün Kıbrıs reported that four embryos seized at Ercan Airport while being prepared for transfer abroad were found inside a numbered transport tank bearing the name of Israeli courier company LifeParcel.

The first suspect arrested, identified as Y.M.G., was reportedly an Israeli citizen.

According to the report, the transport tank belonged to LifeParcel, an international IVF courier company founded by Israeli-linked embryologist Aharon Peretz.

The embryos were allegedly sourced from Vita Altera IVF, a fertility center in Lefkoşa described in police records as operating in egg, sperm, and embryo donation, embryo freezing, IVF, ICSI, and genetic screening services.

Bugün Kıbrıs noted that no clear information about Vita Altera IVF’s founders or ownership structure appears in open sources, raising further questions about the network behind the operation.

Ynet reported that the Israeli suspect was arrested on 19 May at Ercan Airport while allegedly attempting to fly to Mexico via Istanbul carrying the embryos in four separate test tubes inside a specialized “LifeParcel” transport container.

Israeli media said authorities suspect violations related to the illegal transfer and trafficking of embryos and genetic material across borders, while police in Northern Cyprus also arrested the director of the clinic and a local doctor as part of the ongoing investigation.

I don’t blame Fotros. At a certain point it becomes so repetitive that a lot of people are just waiting for something to actually happen.

Edit: unsurprisingly, the empire is claiming that Iran is giving up enriched uranium despite Iran saying they will never surrender anything. just shows the psychological manipulation of reality from the empire. When the war restarts, the empire will be forced to admit it completely lost. They can’t keep up the facade forever.

It really is just “back and forth” at this point. We all know usa will attack again because they are psychologically incapable of backing down. But this time between is really dragging. Its got to be crazy stressful for the people in Iran.

🇺🇸🇨🇳US senators admit US wars on Venezuela and Iran are proxy wars on China itself.

Senator Tim Sheehy repeats all the verified lies used to justify these wars while also admitting the real reason was to “take them off the table” as China’s “most vital jugular veins” ahead of targeting China itself.

Senator Elissa “Chinese Cars Are Coming to Get Us” Slotkin applauds US willingness to use military aggression to threaten the world (even at the cost of having lied to voters saying they wouldn’t) but complains none of this is still enough regarding China.

She claims the US “gave on Taiwan,” but this is simply the same false agreements the US has made for decades regarding its “one China” policy while in practice undermining it.

Of course the ongoing US proxy war on Russia is also part of this.

🇮🇷| Iran’s IRGC warns the US/Israel following threats:

“Let the American-Zionist enemy, which has not learned from its repeated major & strategic defeats to Iran while once again opened its mouth to threats, know this:

Although they attacked us with the full capability of 2 armies, among the most expensive armies in the world, we did not bring all of our capacities into action against them.

But now, if aggression against Iran is repeated, the regional war that had been promised will this time be extended beyond the region (❗️). Our crushing blows, in places you cannot even imagine, will bring you to ruin.

We are men of war, and you will see our power on the battlefield… not in hollow statements and on social media pages (diss on Trump).

❗️US reportedly used over half its THAAD interceptor stockpile defending Israel during war on Iran

The Washington Post reported on 21 May, citing Pentagon assessments and US officials, that the United States fired more than 200 THAAD interceptors, roughly half of its total inventory, to defend Israel during the war on Iran.

The report added that US forces also launched more than 100 SM-3 and SM-6 naval interceptors from warships in the eastern Mediterranean.

According to the report, Israel used far fewer high-end interceptors, firing fewer than 100 Arrow interceptors and around 90 David’s Sling interceptors, while relying on the US to absorb most of the ballistic missile defense burden during what officials referred to as “Operation Epic Fury.”

One US administration official told the paper that the US “shot around 120 more interceptors and engaged twice as many Iranian missiles” as Israel did.

The report said the heavy expenditure has raised concerns inside the Pentagon and among US allies in Asia over depleted interceptor stockpiles and broader military readiness.

Kelly Grieco of the Stimson Center told the paper the US is now left with roughly 200 THAAD interceptors while production “can’t keep pace with demand,” warning that shortages could impact theaters unrelated to Iran, including deterrence against China and North Korea.

Israel has reportedly taken some missile defense batteries offline for maintenance, according to US officials cited by The Washington Post, a move that could force Washington to expend an even greater share of its interceptor inventory if the war on Iran resumes.

Another US official told the paper that “Israel is not capable of fighting and winning wars on its own” without extensive US military support.

You, know, I do wonder if the comprodor elites of Vassels like Occupied Korea buy into the scaremongering as fanatics or if it’s entirely a show. I guess it would be a combination of both based on who the empire wants in power at any specific point.

But, for my money, I’d assume they don’t feel very insecure at all. The DPRK is not a violent rabid entity, and is much more focused on internal development at this moment in time. Even if they could militarily overwhelm the South with the US distracted, they wouldn’t because it would obviously lead to more problems to juggle then they currently have.

I reckon that the leadership of South is well aware of their neighbor’s rational tendencies and isn’t sweating too much about it. However, I’d imagine that the fanatical reactionary elements who seek to start a war with the North are probably fuming right now.

Across the country, iranian women are being taught how to use weapons. US invasion seems Inevitable.

    (This is not fake)

    Brief Story

My mother grew up during the revolution and Iran-Iraq war, and has told me it was very common to learn how to assemble AKs. According to her, when she was a kid they’d take her to the Masjid along with other children and adults, and have them practice assembling the Klashnikovs.

She says she was very bad at it because she was too slow.

Basically, I’m saying that this seems pretty standard considering Iran’s history with imperialist invasions.

You know I thought to myself, “There’s no way that Donald just delays the invasion that Iran and probably the rest of the world (mostly the Global South) knows is inevitable and is doomed to fail once again”, but somehow he has managed to do it.

Great to see Iran is fully preparing for this invasion. Donald really does seem to think that repeatedly delaying the invasion, which again Iran knows is coming, will let Iran’s guard down. But I have a feeling this land invasion will probably be the final nail in the coffin for the empire.
