President of Cuba Miguel Diaz-Canel has noted the increase of the military threat from the US side to an unprecedented level.
“The US President is intensifying his threats of military aggression against Cuba to a dangerous and unprecedented level,” Diaz-Canel wrote on his page in X. “The international community should pay attention to that and determine together with the American nation whether such a radical criminal act is allowed for satisfying interests of a small yet rich and influential group, driven by the revenge and the appetite for domination,” he noted.
“Not a single aggressor, whatever powerful it is, will find capitulation in Cuba,” Diaz-Canel stressed. “It will face the nation full of determination to defend sovereignty and independence on every centimeter of its national territory,” he added.
If I allow privatization of our natural resources, let the US decide who we are allowed to sell those natural resources to, and then take 30% of the profitsfor themselves, release people from prison who have attempted coups and other political violence for fascists, eliminate charities and missions because they were established by Chavez, and normalize relations with the US which was only going to happen by giving the US what they want- have I not betrayed the revolution?
Again, were those demands set by the very same America that is also threatening the country and its people?
I have to be honest, I am not exactly strong in my knowledge and judgement, which is why i started with “most people here…”. A baby-marxist so to say.
