As for why the USA should have any hand in it, that’s because Israel is the only reliable millitary ally in the region and it’s constantly part of an infinite proxy war between Russia and China versus the USA and EU. USA is behind all of the terror organizations. By sticking their oily fingers into things that have nothing to do with USA. Terrorizing whole populations leads only to rise of “easy solutions” that opressed like to listen - hamas, hezbollah, IRA,… And maga. Another case. Inbreds that suppor maga were not necessarily opressed, but they also thought that someone finally would talk to them. Those that think they aren’t and never will be heard are easily pursued by extreme ideologies.
