An account on Feddit.org is pushing a screenshot of a conspiracy theory that shows db0 is run by Nazis. Zero evidence is supplied except a link that mysteriously doesn’t work. Of course Feddit.org is eating this up as all the proof they needed.
When arguing against that and how suspicious it is that a user was browsing this site at all to happen to discover a month old post that conveniently portrayed a plan by Nazis to take over the instances who defederated feddit.org for Zionism.
Knowing how important following German law is for Feddit.org, I inquired as to if libel was against the law. I was informed that it was and calling people Nazis was libel (i.e. exactly what the post they are hosting is doing).
I was than banned for apparently calling someone a Nazi? (I never did, you can see that below) yet in the modlog the actual reason given was bad-faith, because I did not blindly accept a easily falsified screenshot.
The admin in question is Emopunker@feddit@feddit.org
This evidence continues a history of bad-faith and outright lying by the administration at Feddit.org.
I will investigate reporting this to the German authorities, it is unacceptable that Feddit.org will call people Nazis with the full support of the administration staff.

This reinforces my thoughts that this was an deliberate disinfo attempt, and the feddit crowd felt for it hook, line and sinker. Just pathetic when the whole charade collapsed under the smallest of pushes, and ffs, who seriously tries to paint anarchists as neo-nazis?
For anyone who’s going to try this again, a reminder that I have an online presence going back 20+ years, or which 17 of them was in anarchist spaces as well and I’ve been consistent in my beliefs all this time. You’re going to have to try harder than that to prove I’ve been playing a long game of a couple of decades…

I’m assuming this was the origin of someone suggesting dbzer0 was an alt right instance in another thread (and honestly makes their comment even more sad to be so easily duped).
As a non-db0 user I was disappointed with the decision to defederate with feddit. (Mostly because I want a more cooperative and open fediverse, being on lw the decision didn’t affect me)
This is just a sad reaction, trying to paint db0 as neonazi’s, which everyone saw right through immediately.
I’m shocked the original thread actually was archived though, figured it would be blocked by a sign in page or something and wouldn’t have actually been backed up by the wayback. Makes it even sadder that it was this easily disproven.
