Snip:
A poll published by Israel’s Public Broadcaster (KAN) on 28 April found that a majority of Israelis believe the state has failed to secure victory in any war since October 2023.
According to the survey, 57 percent of respondents said no victory had been achieved, while 28 percent believed success had been reached in at least one arena, and a further 15 percent said they were unsure.
The findings come after more than two years of Israel’s genocide in Gaza – which Israel threatens to reignite – during which Tel Aviv waged multiple offensive military campaigns against Gaza, Lebanon, and Iran, alongside attacks in Yemen and Syria and a campaign of destruction and displacement in the occupied West Bank.
Confidence levels across all the fronts remain low, with only 17 percent viewing operations in Syria as successful and 16 percent saying the same for Gaza and Iran.

Isnotrealis seem a little bit cooked. What is success to them? The complete annihilation of the enemy? They for sure were successful in being a murderous callous bunch of terrorists like always but even worse. So what changed? How can these people not see that you won’t achieve peace by unlimited violence?
I think it’s a consequence of their self-mythologization and national identity. A huge part of Israeli identity and education will have"victories like the 6 day war or the Yom Kippur war at its base: they justify the siege mentality and the outsized presence of the military in civilian life and culture. I believe the average Israeli drinks the kool-aid that their military is so overpowered it will win any conflict decisively in a short time, and their military doctrine shows that, too.
So when a conflict isn’t clearly decided quickly and in Israel’s favor with minimal consequences to the civilian population, it’s a failure to them because that’s not how the IDF is supposed to work.
The extreme paranoia required to sustain their society was always going to eat at it from the inside. They are witnessing their actions not leading to desired outcomes and them having no backup plan. Their only other plans were what to do after this plan succeeded.
Well you’d need to present some political or economic benefits to the population make them think they won. What did they get out of the gaza or lebanon or syrian campaigns?
Besides a small amount of highly contested and destroyed territory in gaza and south lebanon, or the overthrow of assad (the latter which is honestly a pretty big win for the zionists), they don’t have much to show for the past 3 uears of war and economic disruption.
It’s like if a gang of burglars tried to rob a house. They planned a quick in and out operation to break get away with the contents of the safe but the home owner started shooting back now 2 of the burglars are dead. Their only accomplishment after a night of shoot outs is that they occupied the living room. The whole gang is falling apart as they realise that they won’t be getting enough dough from this op to get a meaningful return after the split and expenses.
I mean those disgusting and illegal land grabs is really all they could get, isn’t it? It is also their goal to grab as much land as they can.
Workers believing they will benefit from war (endless on top of that) is laughable but that’s what propaganda from childhood on will do to a mf’er.
The zionists have 3 main aims
