They know it’s an effective strategy, because Americans love to blame other country’s leaders for their own failures. Anything bad in Amerikkka, or anything bad that happens to Amerikkka, must be because of some nefarious outside influence.

It also helps that Americans have an extremely short term memory, and easily forget the things politicians have previously said or done. Most of them don’t even remember that Kamala campaigned on making the US have the “most lethal military” on Earth, and repeatedly added that Iran was America’s number one enemy. They were already setting up a narrative in order to prepare people for an upcoming war with Iran. It was going to happen no matter any election results, because the empire’s ruling class decides.

When America isn’t doing well in a war and the people oppose it, just make the opposition party campaign on being “pro-peace” and ending wars, then immediately go to war again and pick up where you left off, rinse and repeat.

This is a Democrat talking to another Democrat, and he includes Bush in the list of presidents who refused Israel’s push, so I read this primarily as “Trump is a dangerous exception.” I think it’s intended as an attack on him more than Israel, which makes sense considering the Democratic establishment’s support of Israel.

Part of this is probably bolstering the lib argument of “say what you will, but Kamala wouldn’t have gone to war with Iran.”

Or cut off a supposed ally trying to talk you into starting (at least) a regional war.
