    It’s easy to hate Americans and say they’re letting something happen. The reality is that the US has not been a democracy for a long time.

    Americans are protesting in numbers never before seen, but it doesn’t matter when the government is owned by the corporations and not by the people.

        Realistically ppl need to commit to a long term plan of action that we prepare for months if not years in advance, sacrificing qol and building resources and systems of support with the expectation that we will lose our jobs and income for a good while. This can’t be a soft voice asking from a normal life for mercy, it needs to be a strong will demanding from a Spartan life that is prepared for a political and economic siege.

      Yes, protest has been effectively nullified as a means for peacefully redressing grievances. Bring the economy to halt and watch them take us seriously.
