Enshitification is the major theme of the modern capitalist economy. You can see this process increasingly soaking through many technologies, services, and systems that populate our daily lives. With any luck, we are now seeing it manifest in the US’s corporate military infrastructure. Hopefully the rest of the world, both the allies we are grifting, and the enemies we are scapegoating, will increasingly realize how hollow a nation we really are. As they distance themselves from us, and challenge us economically and militarily, the collapse of this facade will accelerate.
