Hopefully this page doesn’t remove this comment for “antisemitism” again.

lemmy.world loves censorship in general, would advise moving to a more relaxed instance.

No surprises on him being an agent too

The lemmy.world mods were totally happily stomping on the narrative that Biden was directly enabling the Palestinian Genocide. It took until Trump was elected for them to start quietly backing off from an enforced naivete they were previously happy to maintain a “blue maga” response to where any criticism of Biden meant you were a Russian bot or something.

If Biden was elected again we would still be fighting this battle against empty neoliberal centrists dismissing evidence of the genocide as a distraction/character assassination done to benefit Republicans.

As a mod of a huge community, I cannot tell you how often someone said “Jews did x,” then called it censorship when we deleted it. If you criticize Israel, you’re fine. If you says “Jews,” but mean “Israel,” you’re probably not.

Meanwhile, we have lively discussions behind the scenes to prevent censorship. Users don’t really care though, they just want to complain and assume every mod action is an attack on users.

Users do care, but it’s obviously judged from actions alone - we don’t know what discussions happen behind the scenes. When I noticed mods behaving as if it was /r/worldnews, that’s when I switched.

Yeah, but if the post is on lemmy.world, even by someone from another instance, they will just ban that user from that community.
