Years ago they got sued or something for factual reporting, basically only giving airtime to candidates that campaign on reality-based issues. Ever since then they have been giving equal airtime to both major parties. You can hear it in their voice that covering Republicans must be like a punishment
That has nothing to do with equal time it’s about extremely positive or just ignoring right candidates problems and absolutely dragging through the mud (for npr standards) left candidates smallest mistakes. All of this started around the time of Hillary/trump.
Bunch of keyboards heroes in this thread who literally never listen to npr. I not only used to listen couple hours daily but donate and watched it happen in real time.
