If it was just normal amounts, sure, but this is well into into non-functional territory. Anyone else would have already faced life-altering consequences for this kind of habit. And if he was a normal person this bad off I’d obviously have a lot of empathy, but with this amount of unaccountable power, every problem in his life is entirely his own fault. Insane how the most powerful people on the planet will preach “personal responsibility” to the rest of us, and then accept zero responsibility themselves.

Yeah agreed. There’s just a tiny bit of a difference between enjoying a coffee in the morning, a beer or two on the weekend, or dry vaping some weed at the end of the night…. and fucking being addicted to ketamine and non-medicinal use of adderall.

That shit ruins your own body, your life, and all your relationships and it’s objectively a reactionary take to celebrate that type of drug abuse.

Communism does, in fact, require our productive labor.

Not everything is so black and white that the opposite of demonizing is celebrating. In no way do I celebrate his drug use, however it is the most human thing about him.

And as an aside for the parent comment to your reply, framing drug use as only okay in a narrow band of prescribed circumstances is reactionary in itself and exactly the puritan/moralism aspect I was talking about.
