i have a cold and working the register yesterday this 60-70 something lady kept telling me ‘i can’t hear you’ while miming pulling down a mask and her lie made me want to cough on her and thinking about it still makes me feel
a little upsetI wish they’d just make masks compulsory again.
I’ve seen none of this in media. TV news isn’t reporting it nor newspapers.
Several newspapers have reported it, they’re calling it “superflu.”
I’ve been sick for 3 weeks almost. Every week is basically a new set of symptoms. It fucking sucks. It’s completely impossible to get a doctor’s appointment. Even if I was well enough to take them on, my work had had multiple projects delayed because there isn’t enough people to carry them out. And one of the kids’ schools has been closed all week because their isn’t enough staff.
The world does seem to be falling apart.
