      one would have assumed that it had some insulation from the right wing cranks, being that it has always been housed in the Commerce department as a nod to the obvious fact that some ability to forecast catastrophe protects business interests and commercial activity as well.

      but now that every aspect of reality must be viewed through a lens that determines if it is “woke/rainbow” or “trad/skull” for the Everyone is 13 heuristic… it seems anything can and will happen.
