I’m upset that trump won that election, but goddamn she deserved to lose it based on her terrible policy positions and political instincts.

The second they struck gold calling republicans “weird” she shut it down.

I don’t buy the racism or misogyny angle. Top search terms on the day of the election were “did Biden drop out?” and “who is Kamala Harris?” Plus, we’d elected Obama before. Twice.

And much was made of Latinos increasingly voting for Trump — liberals blaming them for being (ironically) racist and misogynist. Yet Claudia Sheinbaum is president of Mexico, and very popular.

Maybe run some good candidates and you’ll get votes? Candidates that can at least promise to make things better? You know, like hope. And change.

She saw the same polling data as the rest of us.

The people who voted for Biden but stayed home for Harris were mostly boomers and some millennials who were white men/women and hispanic men.

The Democrats overcounted the young vote because they felt entitled to young voters, and they were wrong. Young people came out to vote Trump away in 2020. That was it.

The Democrats don’t seem to understand that when millions of your lifetime loyal voters stay home, that is what you should be focusing on and using to figure out what went wrong.

The polling data that she is aware of implies she lost because she was a colored woman, and that older voters have become disillusioned with dem policies.

There’s also analysis in here about the much smaller group of young “new” voters that didn’t show up for Kamala, probably because they were disillusioned with Biden’s economy and saw her as a continuation of him and his policies.
