Some Greggs stores are now keeping their sandwiches behind the counter in a bid to crackdown on shoplifting

Irritatingly, the journalist fails to link this to increased poverty and food insecurity.

Every greggs i’ve ever been to has been a behind-the-counter setup, you go to the till and tell them what you want then they hand them over.
