Italy is sending a ship to accompany the Gaza-bound Global Sumud Flotilla, who said its activists remain shaken but determined following an Israeli attack on Wednesday morning.

Organisers of expedition, which is attempting to carry aid to the Gaza Strip, shared footage this morning appears to show an explosion that detonated on one of the flotilla’s vessels.

Late on Tuesday activists heard explosions and saw drones that targeted some of their boats, currently situated off Greece. “Multiple drones, unidentified objects dropped, communications jammed and explosions heard from a number of boats,” the Global Sumud Flotilla said.

“I have authorised the immediate intervention of the Navy’s frigate Fasan, which was sailing north of Crete and is heading towards the area,” Italian Defence Minister Guido Crosetto said in a statement.

So I’ll take your avoidance of the question as a no then: you’re just another member of the diaspora who thinks that just because you’re not white, visited your parent’s motherland a few times, and can ask where’s the bathroom in your heritage language that you can’t speak fluently anymore, you can speak on behalf of members of the Global South. Pretty cracker behavior I gotta say.

I’ll leave you with this one single question: why has Ansarallah not once condemn China for its alleged complicity despite the fact that China gave a strongly worded speech against Ansarallah firing rockets on ships headed to Zionist ports and despite the fact that China also hosted a conference where they invited an official from the internationally recognized Yemeni government that holds no de facto power instead of inviting a member of Ansarallah? You gonna speak on their behalf too?

dancing dancing dancing to avoid the indisputable fact that aiding israel materially is zionism, and indefensible for a socialist project. I’m not interested in your excuses for why Zionism is acceptable under certain conditions. Not at all. They amount to personal attacks against me and appeals to authority, there’s nothing rational about your apologetics.

None of the Axis of Resistance has once condemned China, and if it’s good enough for the Axis of Resistance, it is good enough for me. Are the Axis of Resistance Zionist too?

More appeals to authority. They have to be diplomatic in public, and China is the only path for them to develop and advance diplomatically if somehow a Palestinian state is ever achieved so they need to keep that option on the table. But that’s pure cold calculation, not anything to do with their stances on China’s current actions. They cannot publicly attack China without becoming totally isolated, it’s pragmatic not ideological.

We don’t have those same diplomatic restraints. We can talk plainly and clearly, and it’s very obvious what’s happening here. China is valuing money and status quo diplomacy with the USA over ending a genocide. That’s really the brute truth where the rubber meets the road, and you cannot respond to it except with personal attacks against me and appeals to authority like I said.

You can’t flip-flop between taking things at surface level and trying to “read tea leaves” like you accused me of doing. I could easily say that the Axis of Resistance do not openly criticize China because China by all accounts are helping them behind the scenes and they do not want to bite the hand that feeds them. How is this interpretation less true than your point about diplomacy? Do you have a single testimony or analysis of someone who’s close to AoR leadership which tips the scale towards your interpretation over mine?

And Ansarallah did jab at China before, but it’s more for selling drones to the Saudis, which means your point about diplomacy isn’t even that substantiated for Ansarallah at least because they did jab at China before. So why did they jab at China then but are silent now?
