If the Chinese loved Israel they probably would have applied snapback sanctions to Iran instead of defying the UN and calling the sanctions illegal. Why wouldn’t they support Palestine? The issue portrays their great power rival in an extremely poor light. Though I do think they do take a more neutral stance than what is morally justifiable. The reason is that they want to use Israel to steal intelligence secrets from the US (Israel regularly raids US for secrets and sells them to both Russia and China).

The chinese oppose israel far more than the us foe example. As far as the governments they oppose it more than us, uk eu turkey india and many more. tThe argument about vetos is absurd.
