If my job told me to travel to the US for whatever reason, I would tell them that I would either remain where I am or I would resign.
Who would want to go to a country that will send you to an El Salvadorian death camp just for being a tourist?

I told my work that I will not be travelling to the US under any circumstances until there’s no risk of me being detained in an ICE prison.
Realistically I will not be travelling there for any reason for years to decades at this point. America as a country needs to go fuck itself for a while so it can really learn the lesson of how productive that is.
I really hate my country and wish it nothing but the worst, but I do feel bad for some people here. A lot are irredeemable assholes but there are some genuinely good people here who don’t deserve what’s happening.

I meant our confusion about if science is real or whether minorities deserve basic rights, which seems to be afflicting about 50% of the population.

Hour for hour is a bad metric. Bicycling is going to win hands down, but that’s not going to be my first answer when I need to travel 500 km. Kilogram-kilometer is far more reasonable, especially if coupled with asking the question of whether that kilogram needs to be moved that kilometer.
I went to miami this month the lines at the international border control was non existent lol, it was nice not having to wait in line but they are losing so much tourism its crazy
