There is a difference between what we want reality to be and what it actually is.

If we were talking about what we want, we wouldn’t have this war in the first place.

This is not true. A million dollars buys you a house, so basically cancels rent. But it does not feed you for life and lets you live without working.

There is a big difference between people who own a millon dollars in money and assets and those who have a million dollars in their checkings account.

Also most millionaires are just homeowners.

Comparing a million dollars to a billion dollars is like comparing one dollar to a thousand dollars.

Most likely the right wing CDU talks big now to wiggle out some small concessions against their socialist coalition partner and againt the green/left opposition.

They can not change anything big because otherwise the current coalition would fold.

The CDU can not form a coalition or cooperate with the ultra right AFD because that would cost them a big chunk of their current voters.

They currently have nothing going for them that would win them voters on their own.
