There’s so much more profit to be made if you exploit the environment, and the oligarchs plan on the consequences not catching up to them before they die of old age. (At least, not any consequences they can’t buy their way out of.)

I don’t like using labels like DINO and RINO, but if anyone deserved to be called a DINO, it’s Fetterman.

There were two reactors at Three Mile Island. Unit 2 was the site of the meltdown. Unit 1 was undamaged, and continued to operate until 2019, when it was mothballed due to economic conditions. With the rising demand for electricity, that’s what that’s the unit they’re considering bringing back online. Unit 2 doesn’t actually have a generator anymore. It was scavenged for a plant in North Carolina in 2010.

It’s Obama’s fault for not invading Iran and driving up gas prices on his watch.

To ensure wages don’t lag again in the following years, the bill also requires the minimum wage to automatically grow each year to reach the equivalent of two-thirds the national median hourly wage. It also eliminates the subminimum wage, which is paid to tipped workers, youth workers, and workers with disabilities.
I’m in favor of both of these. It means we don’t have to relitigate the minimum wage battle every few years, and paves the way for moving away from tipping, which I can’t be alone in wanting.

Some people can’t get over the sunk cost fallacy.

I still remember Craig Ferguson’s heartfelt monologue when she checked into rehab in 2007. It’s still relevant today.

Hitler used his dog to test cyanide capsules, so its a tie.

It wasn’t written with caps lock, that’s a give away at this point.

I would think Gulf Coast oil refineries would be a better target. You’d further constrain the US gas supply, and bring the war to red states, both of which could erode support for the President and his war.

Don’t threaten me with a good time, Donald.

Trump needs spray tans because his skin is so thin it’s transparent.

We really need to move past First Past the Post, but the people who can institute the change are the people who are elected by FPTP.

Yet another “Wag the Dog” attempt.

I don’t really trust any statistics put out by this administration, especially from DHS or the Justice Department.

He’s right, but for all the wrong reasons.

According to the article, Trump has very poor support from Independents and virtually none from Democrats, but is getting approval from 9/10 Republicans. I don’t know what to do with such deeply rooted tribal mentality.

Let us take a moment to appreciate that this reporting is coming from a news website out of Alabama.

The reason Republicans block DC statehood is because the District votes Democratic, and they don’t want to give the Democrats more seats in Congress. How do they think Greenlanders would vote if conquered by Donald Trump?
It took a plague to get him out of office the first time, let’s not push the issue.
