He seems like a complete idiot but I actually think this guy is a master manipulator and gaslighter. Like it’s honestly morbidly impressive how absurdly effective his spins are. I mean the guy has studied nothing but business tactics his entire life.

Is it possible that that the Trump administration being backed into a PR corner would throw Netanyahu under the bus and leave Israel on an island with no aid?

It’s difficult to imagine honestly because I honestly think the governments of the US and Israel are so deeply tied together that this kind of severance is just never going to happen.

Amazing how American liberals are acting as though Iran choosing Ali Khamenei’s son as Supreme Leader is undemocratic while their country has very recently had Bush and Bush within 8 years of each other.

Also Trump just a few days ago called him an “unacceptable choice” after being the guy who authorized the killing of his father in the first place just days prior…

I want the whole thing to just completely break already

I used to think of Israel as just another American proxy to support American hegemony in the region. However, I’ve never seen a proxy be able to drag the U.S. into a war that is as risky as this one.

Sure, a win against Iran might collapse the Axis of Resistance which would enable Israel to colonize the Arab world with great success. But a loss… a loss could be the nail in the coffin for the American Empire. If the U.S. is forced out of West Asia it simply won’t be able to meet its ridiculously high energy needs.

It’s speculation, but I have to imagine Trump’s people are panicking behind the scenes to some degree. American administrators are always evil, but they haven’t been this stupid for quite a long time if ever.

I obviously don’t want people here in the USA to get hurt. However, no American alive today has experienced a war in the homeland before. Maybe it would do us some good to experience the realities of war
