I get it. He’s a business owner same an immigrant who, ostensibly, did it the legal way. So he’s got a lot of pride. Person like that trusts Trump because he feels like he’s the kind of person Trump looks out for. The marketing and all that. He bought a product, hook line and sinker. Gobbled up the lies about how “Kamala” was gonna take his business or whatever.
Problem is, the reality the rest of us saw. Trump only cares about billionaires he owes favors to. This guy thought he was in, but he was never in. Thought he’d be living large, but he’s paying large like the rest of us. And learning the hard way that Trump hates immigrants, legal or otherwise.
Best case scenario, he teaches other people, helps turn the Sunshine State or at least his local community. You could call this guy a fool and you wouldn’t be wrong. Better to see him as a potential opportunity for change.

Remember when it was cool to quote Inglorious Basterds? (“I’m in the business of killing Nazis, and business is good.”)

Child abuse comes in many forms

Maybe. But if we can’t agree to a standard of truth, how can anyone learn? If we just cast aside truth when it’s not convenient, how can we criticise people on basis of being intelligent?
Or you only consider people intelligent if they agree with you without questioning why? That sounds like a cult to me.

If Donald Trump can fix the Middle East, that is what he will be remembered for, for centuries. That’s how important it is.
I do not believe that good and smart people can do it, let alone Trump, but it he’s anywhere near sincere in his efforts, credit where it’s due (but in the context of all the horrible things he’s done).
Because Trump’s party controls all three branches of government.
