• About the US ‘not knowing’ about the the Israeli attack… while it was happening there were a few US Boeing E-3 Sentry (command center) planes in the air that took off from US bases in the Persian Gulf, US military bases in the region were at Defcon 5, diplomatic families in the region were evacuated 2 days before, a large attack like that wouldn’t be possible without US intel about Iranian anti-air and radar.

• Israel is using Syrian, Iraqi, Jordanian air space to refuel its F-15s, F-16s, F-35s.

• Some ideas for Iranian responses… Strait of Hormuz blockade, attacks on tanker ships, attacks on Israeli nuclear sites like the Dimona reactor.

• Iran supplies hydrocarbons to China and in the short term Russia can’t replace that much, so attacking Iran can also be seen as an indirect US attempt to slow down the Chinese economy.
