I hope they remain prepared for an eventuality where the US also suddenly pulls out and leaves them on their own. I know they’re different Kurdish forces, but hopefully they’re aware of the history there.

Not likely, especially while GOP controls the house. It’s absolutely related that Trump today is saying there will be an increase in bombing intensity in Iran.
