Not at all, that will take months at best or maybe years if they don’t want to spike oil prices. It might be enough to keep the US going for a while, though.

Cannot imagine the engineering required to land on a 20x30m asteroid, very cool

The US doesn’t have the ability to do that, they aren’t even self sufficient yet. Not saying you’re wrong but they’re years away from being in a position to do that

What even is the end goal here? The US got about as good a deal as they could hope for, lots of things they could stall or just refuse to do in the future. They didn’t even wait a few months to restock on oil or start sending troops over for round 2. Is it really gonna be pointless flailing around until Trump kicks the bucket?

It really is over for Ukraine lol, they aren’t even willing to do the performative shit against Russia anymore

Mining engineering is a very specific type of degree and is also the kind of degree that sometimes has you living in a tent next to some mine in Montana for months at a time. Unless you’re very passionate about economic geology, there are a lot of better options for engineers.

The Hill briefly posts an article titled DO NOT USE: A Lookback at Mitch McConnell’s time in the Senate

I’ve been using futbol-libres.su, the Telemundo stream usually works. Need an adblocker though

He actually did have a pretty funny take, which was that the children of illegal immigrants should have citizenship (since they live here) but tourists and non-permanent residents should not. https://xcancel.com/i/status/2072003800122999086

Where are you getting that? The article is basically just a play by play of the penalties.

Not borked, he’s just privated his account. I was following him already so here’s the post

The court said the state comptroller’s role is to review government actions against prevailing norms, not conduct investigations to establish the factual reality of events.
come on lol

holy shit what a game, I’m speechless

Interesting article. I was wondering what was up with Redditors saying Ukraine had the advantage currently when there was no large counteroffensive to go along with it like the last couple times.

Well they certainly don’t make good cars, maybe weapons would be a smart pivot. Leave the cars to Japan and China since they seem to be the only ones capable of making decent ones

This is pretty funny coming from the guy who was desperately trying to get Russia into said rules-based order for years, arguably even after the war in Ukraine started

What ability would they even have to claim the property if they won in court? Is this just-in-case proceedings for a potential invasion?
Thanks!
