Actually, I have been on many platforms and Lemmy is worse than some boards on 4chan and overall worse than Reddit when it comes to feminism. I have never seen anyone advocate for having sex in front of kids or seen people overwhelmingly downvote “kids can’t consent” on any other forum. I have never seen mods do so much to silence women.
But yes, it is old. We can agree there.

? This doesn’t even make sense though. It would devastate him how? He would simply use Lemmy like the rest of us, he isn’t being permabanned from Lemmy. His day to day will be generally the same, same login and forums and everything, just no powertrip. Which, by the way, is way more grace and generosity than he ever gave normal users when he DID ban them entirely.
This has been my experience with him as well. He does not appear benign to me and even if they take away his mod privileges, he can still participate on Lemmy like everyone else so removing him doesn’t really change anything except protect people from him.
